Govinda is convinced by the whole Gotama thing and becomes a Buddha monk. Siddhartha sees that the Buddha is not much help to him and decides to keep moving. He tells Govinda about what he is going to do. Govinda becomes sad and wonders why Siddharta wants to leave. Siddhartha leaves and meets the ferryman. He crosses the ferryman's river to a city to which he meets Kamala. Kamala entrances him there. Soon after he meets Kamaswami and learns trade.
